Do I understand correctly that the button for manually switching the 3 channels (to the 3 computers) is at the bottom of the mouse? That's a bit awkward if you want to switch manually. This is useful when the screen saver goes in, because then the automatic switch/flow does not work.

If you have a PC on channel 1 and another laptop on channel 2, the mouse works independently of the paired devices. The software for the flow only works if both devices are active and you have set this up via the software.

As far as I can tell from the information, this is done via software. The button at the bottom is only needed once to pair the mouse with the corresponding computer. You can think of it as using two monitors on one computer, where if you move the mouse outside of one monitor, it goes to the other monitor. Enclosed is a video feat.
