Do I need to order a separate power supply for the GD4130-BKK1 or can the hand-held scanner be charged via the USB cable supplied?

Helpful answer

The scanner has no battery and therefore does not need to be charged. However, it is powered via the USB cable. So if you connect it via USB, you do not need an additional power supply.

A separate power supply unit is needed, for example, if you connect it via RS232 cable.
