Do I need the Sonos One as a rear speaker to have even more fun? Does that bring anything? Be it for films or Spotify music? Or absolutely overrated?

You can use the Sonos One, Sonos Play1, Play5 and others as rear speakers, I can only recommend this, especially when listening to music with Tunein, AppleMusic etc. you have the advantage of full sound from all speakers. With content such as Netflix, films etc., the advantage is sourround sound, which is really cool. Especially with action films you have a great sound experience. The only disadvantage is that it only supports Dolby 5.1 and not DTS, but I had no problems using the Playbase with a SonyTV and AppleTV.

I added a sub and 2 Play:1 to my Playbase. Now have 5.1 surround sound in the living room and will never watch TV any other way!

Until last month, I only had the Playbase and I'm a huge fan of it. I think the quality for movies and games is great, also thanks to the integrated subwoofer, which is less powerful than the external one from Sonos, but delivers great bass. (You can also annoy the neighbour with this one :-P )
I now have another Sonos Play1, but more so that the other rooms also have some music. with the TruePlay function (only for iOS), the rooms can also be set professionally. There would (I think) even be the possibility to set the whole system as surround, if you want to add two more speakers.

It probably depends on what you mean by fun.
I am completely satisfied with the Playbase. Super sound quality and the integration of Spotify, for example, works without problems.
As well as the automatic switching of Spotify, etc. and the digital audio output for TVs, etc.
