Question about Philips LivingColors Iris

yes you need a philips hue hub. there you can connect about 70 lamps. (via LED Bluetooth (I mean) enabled lamps) you can replace all the light bulbs in the house with these. (don't have to be philips) then you can control everything from the harmony, best via the app on a tablet/pad, so you have a nice colour palette. theoretically 1 hue is enough as long as there are no lift shafts etc. in between. you can then control with the harmony how where when which colours should turn on where for which programme. so TV this, radio that, gaming such, etc. you can also just time lamps to a certain time. have fun.
