So, latest status: Had to switch to HDMI in the monitor menu, of course, but now it works. Adjusted the drivers via CD. The typeface is already much better. But still not sharp enough for a UHD 4K. At a resolution of only 1920 x 1080 = half of what this one can do. But that's because of my graphics card. It is now being replaced.
Unfortunately, an HDMI connection is not enough. I wanted to connect the monitor with an HDMI cable. Unfortunately, nothing works at all. Contrary to the description, only the original DP cable supplied works. But on my PC side, only an HDMI cable can be connected like on the TV. Now I have to go to the specialist....
Hello
In my opinion, an HDMI connection is sufficient. However, if you want to play games with demanding graphics, it is certainly advisable to connect a very powerful or high-end graphics card and connect it to the monitor via DisplayPort, otherwise it will judder unimaginably, as with any 4K monitor. After all, it is four times the resolution of Full HD.
Hope I could help you...
In order to enjoy the 4K graphics, you must have a certain graphics card. But otherwise you only need an HDMI connection.
