Do I need a philips hue lamp for the colour change or does the colour change and control only work with the light bulb? Are they suitable for every lamp?

To change the colour and control the Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance lamp, you don't need an additional Philips Hue lamp, just the corresponding light bulb itself.
- The Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance lamp (E27, 13.50 W, 1600 lm) offers the ability to switch between white and coloured light and can display up to 16 million colours.
- It can be controlled via the Philips Hue app, voice control with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, or with smart accessories such as the Hue Dimmer Switch.
- These lamps fit into standard E27 sockets and are therefore suitable for most traditional lamps and luminaires.
