Question about EVGA HB SLI-Bridge (2-way)
Do I absolutely need an HB bridge or is the one that comes with the mainboard also sufficient?

The HB bridges are only supported by the latest Geforce cards (1080, 1070), not by older cards. You can take the bridge that comes with the mainboard, the HB bridge has a higher clock rate, so it is faster than a normal bridge. In my opinion, micro-stutters are much less pronounced than with a normal bridge, they don't disappear completely, but the gaming experience is (subjectively) much more pleasant.
And what about the micro jerks, will these be remedied with a HB bridge?
