HDMI resolution is not supported: If you are using an HDMI monitor or HDTV that does not support a resolution of 1024x768, you cannot access the Intel® Visual BIOS setup when pressing the F2 key.

I also had this problem at the beginning. The solution was these cables https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/Product/453199.

Do I understand this correctly: You cannot call up the Bios (F2 is not observed and the operating system starts)?
This should work with the F2 key: Switch on the NUC, then press the F2 key several times in a short interval... This works for me without any problems.
What about the other keys? F7, F8, F10?
Or does F2 work, but only the Bios screen is not displayed (black screen)? Did you connect the NUC via HDMI cable? Then try connecting the NUC to the monitor via miniDP (graphics performance via DP is better anyway - I always had a little flickering when watching videos via HDMI, but since I've been using the miniDP, the flickering is gone).
