Defect or followed: Loud gliding. I received the mouse today and tried it out straight away, I used the small MX Anywhere 3S all the time and both right next to each other. The MX Master 3S is super loud when sliding back and forth as normal. Also much more responsive. I'm not sure if this is intentional or a defect? I tested it on 4 different surfaces with both mice. 1) Leather pad 2) Logitech mouse pad 3) Glass 4) Paper. The MX Master 3S is really loud, rubs somehow. Doesn't feel like you're gliding over the surface, but rather like you're cleaning it....hmmm don't know what to do? Send it back? Is this a defect?
It sounds very much as if a corner is protruding from one of the pads. You can try to press it back on a little, but this usually doesn't help much or only temporarily. On a good mouse pad, it should glide easily and quietly. You should certainly check whether there is still a protective film on the pads, otherwise I would say: Defective. Lg
I have no such problem.
Is there still film on the sliding pads?
I have and have had various MX 3 and MX 3S mice and have never had any problems with gliding.
