Dear owners of this monitor, I am excited with the reviews and characteristics of this monitor which I would like to get to replace my 5-year Acer Predator IPS gaming monitor. What is holding me back a bit is the declared SDR brightness of this monitor of 250-260 nits. In contract the IPS monitor will have between 300-350 nits. Do any of you feel that the monitor is too dark when used in SDR mode? Do you have a good experience switching from a good IPS monitor to PG27UCDM? My preference is more on rich and accurate colours rather than very high brightness, on the other hand I would not prefer to invest in a monitor that feels too dim in daily life. In addition, are the burn in protection / care activities a hassle in daily life or it is manageable? Many thanks!

Honestly, it really depends on what you need and how your room is lit. I’m using this monitor as a "second screen" next to an Apple Studio Display, and to be honest, the OLED just isn’t as bright. With the Studio Display, you can see stuff clearly even when the sun’s shining right in, but the OLED struggles in that situation. Still, in regular lighting, it works just fine. Also, the picture quality is awesome, it’s great not just for gaming, but for office work too.

Brightness won’t be a problem, the monitor is actually very bright in real use. I am really happy with it.
