Dear Community Since water damage a good two years ago, I can only use my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon (4th Signature Edition) in mains operation, i.e. when the charger is connected (the battery itself no longer charges). This is quite annoying, especially when I'm on the road. Is it possible to use the laptop with the Xtorm XB303 Voyager Powerbank or can it only be used to charge the battery if it still has some capacity left? Thanks for the help.
Hi Mel,
Battery pack to run your notebook, = probably not.
However your device probably can be repaired. sounds like your battery is damaged, replacing these "if you have a spare internal battery" is a very easy proceedure.
2. lenovo has an a very good warranty and repair service.
You probably can get it fixed so you do not need to use AC.
As the X1 4th Gen does not have Thunderbolt / USB Type C with Power Delivery, it is not possible to charge the notebook with the powerbank.
