I would like to connect my TV to the unit via Toslink and then feed the analogue headphone signal into my analogue hi-fi system (aux in) so that I can use my large speakers when watching TV (TV only has digital outputs).

Is this possible, or is there a problem with the impedance?

in my opinion, the two analogue stereo cinch outputs should be connected to the aux in the system. i had only connected headphones to the headphone output.
