I am trying to connect a Philips Hue Bridge via the Ethernet interface to the Netgear Nighthawk M5, which is also a hub and DHCP server. Everything is working properly, but the bridge is not recognised by the Netgear or is probably not assigned an IP address by the DHCP server. Does anyone know if and how the bridge can be assigned a fixed IP address?

You can switch off DHCP for the bridge in the Phillips Hue app under Network settings. Maybe then it will work.

I have now bought a TP-Link as a hub for my Philips Hue Smart Bridge (28 francs), as it could not be connected to the Netgear Nighthawk M5 via the Ethernet port - now it works perfectly.
