Dear Community, I bought this monitor with the intention of buying a desktop sooner or later. Now I use my gaming notebook and play games with it via the monitor. Now the HDMi 2.0 at 60Hz is the end. Can I use a suitable adapter/converter to connect the notebook with HDMI and then connect the monitor through the adapter with Display Port to achieve 144 Hz? Thanks in advance.

Hello Marco,
Unfortunately, with HDMI you can achieve max. 120Hz on 1920 x 1080.
At 2560 x 1440 it is even only the normal 60Hz.

Adapters are definitely available, so you can then, as shown above, achieve up to 120Hz (buy an active adapter).
Since you own a gaming laptop, this should not be a problem in terms of graphics performance, as long as you don't overdo it with the graphics settings of course :-)

Greetings
