Dear Community, can someone here help me with the following request: I would like to connect a Dell UltraSharp U4025QW (5120 x 2160) in landscape mode (via DisplayPort) and a Dell UltraSharp U2723QE (3840 x 2160) in portrait mode (via HDMI) to a Dell D6000 docking station via USB-C alternately to a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 2-in-1 Gen9 (work laptop) and a Macbook Air M2 2022 (personal laptop). Can anyone tell me whether, and if so, how this is technically feasible? So far I have been able to get 1440 x 2560 pixels on the Thinkpad for the monitor in portrait format, but only up to 4096 x 2160 pixels for the large monitor in landscape format. On the Macbook, only the monitor is displayed in landscape format, but in the completely wrong pixel format - portrait format is not possible. Many thanks for your help.

To me, this looks a bit like overtaxing the graphics capabilities of the notebooks (or the combination) via bus and docking.

Sali, don't cheggs 💯.

A basic question: do the individual monitors reach the maximum resolution on both devices single?
