Correction: The plug on the headphone side is neither a cinch nor a chinch (there is no such thing), but a jack.

Chinch is just a (widely used) misspelled RCA and not its own design. This product looks to me like Lightning to Jack (or jack plug called) 2.5mm. Accordingly, it is suitable for Bose and Apple.
