Question about Staedtler Noris digital Jumbo

The Staedtler Noris digital Jumbo (180J 22-1) is not compatible with the ONYX BOOX Note Air 3 C. The Noris digital Jumbo requires a display technology with Electromagnetic Resonance (EMR), but the ONYX BOOX Note Air 3 C uses an E Ink Kaleido 3 display technology that is not compatible with EMR.

Is this statement really true? "ONYX BOOX Note Air 3 C uses an E Ink Kaleido 3 display technology" is correct, but the e-reader has a WACOM EMR layer on top, which should make it EMR compatible despite Kaleido 3. The one does not exclude the other.
