Although these discs have a USB-C port, they come with a short USB-C to USB-3 cable. So you don't need an additional adapter.

The disc has a USB-C interface. With the supplied USB-C to USB-3 cable, it can be connected directly to a USB-2 or USB-3 interface with the PC. I use this SSD with a Lenovo Yoga PC with USB-2 or USB-3 interface. Works flawlessly.
