It's a wired microphone. But if you buy a wireless adapter, you can use it without a cable. Unfortunately, these adapters are very expensive and not worthwhile for this microphone. In this case, it's better to buy a wireless microphone.
No, the microphone only works with cable! The output is XLR, so you need an adapter for other connections (e.g. Jack).
