Can you please tell me if this MP3 player is iTunes compatible?

No. Neither in the set-up, then in the use of my FiiO, nor in the (excellent) user manual did I see the term iTunes at all.
I hope, however, that this will not deter you from buying the device!

I don't know, but the FiiO can be written to like a normal USB hard disk. On the PC I have a directory for the FiiO, which I then synchronise with PersonalBackup (Uni Kiel). Besides, the FiiO are rather meant for audio formats like FLAC or OGG, which offer unadulterated music enjoyment.

By the way, the device is really cool. The only noticeable shortcoming so far is the scroll function in the music catalogues, which lacks the two-step function, i.e. the ability to scroll through the alphabet first.
