Can you play with 120Hz on the monitor in connection with the PS5, I read that it only works with an HDMI 2.1 connection?

The Samsung gaming monitor LC32HG70QQUXEN has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and an HDMI 2.0 connection. The maximum refresh rate of a Playstation 5 is currently 120 Hz. This 120 Hz can also be output via an HDMI 2.0 connection. An HDMI 2.1 cable or connection is not required for this. Yes, for 120Hz, you need an HDMI 2.1 connection, but that is only necessary for the 4K resolution. The resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels is also not very recommendable for a 32-inch size, because the individual pixels are already clearly visible to the naked eye at this size. At 32 inches, a 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution should be chosen. However, if you were to buy a 4K screen, it would have to have an HDMI 2.1 connection, whereas HDMI 2.0 should be sufficient for a lower resolution.
