Question about Shuriken Rev. B - 51705

Since the 6600K already works very efficiently ex works in terms of heat, I would say yes, to a certain extent. But it's not really recommended, this fan can get relatively loud. I would suggest a larger one for overclocking.

If space is an issue (e.g. if a larger heat sink is not possible), you could try a quieter, equally large fan.
But I have to agree with Tschaffner: There are other heat sinks for overclocking ;)
