Can video signals also be routed to the notebook via the HDMI connections on the dock? Can I, for example, connect an external camera to the dock and access the video signal via the notebook? Thank you.

Helpful answer
USB works fine for me, I have a small webcam for video conferences connected directly to the dock. Photo cameras etc. also work to import pictures/videos, but unfortunately they all have mini HDMI to USB. Maybe Targus offers more information?
