Question about Samsung Portable SSD T1

In principle, this should work without drivers or with USB Plug and Play. However, it is not recommended to use an SSD to store movies or music, especially if it is connected to a Bluray player via USB. SSDs are many times faster than conventional hard disks because they use flash memory instead of magnetic disks. Take a conventional hard disk instead, they have more space and cost less, because the USB controller in the hard disk and the USB controller in the Bluray player probably won't give you any advantages when you use an SSD.
