Can this mouse and keyboard also be connected to a Surface via Bluetooth or is this only possible via USB dongle?

Hello..

According to Logitech you need a USB port, unfortunately Bluetooth does not work as a connection.
If your Surface has a USB C port, for example, you could buy a USB adapter.

For example this one: InLine USB 3.1 Adapter Type C male to A female silver (A - C, 3.1)
