Can this KVM switch correctly switch a wireless mouse (Microsoft Wireless Natural Laser Mouse 7000) with a wireless dongle? I found out from SECOM AG that the corresponding KVM switch requires a "full protocol additional port" for this? Is this the case with this model? Does anyone have experience with KVM switches and wireless mouse with wireless dongle? Thank you and greetings

Helpful answer

So, I can answer this question myself now that I have the product with me and have asked ATEN support. Finally, there are 2 suggested solutions which worked for me:
1. disable mouse emulation: for this I had to enter the following key combination:
1.1 Hold down [NumLock].
1.2 Press and release [-] (minus key).
1.3 Release [NumLock] again -> the ATEN KVM Switch beeps 2x
1.4 Press and release [m] (m button) -> The ATEN KVM Switch beeps 2x
2. via USB hub at the ATEN Keyboard USB port: for this I connected a powered USB hub to the ATEN Keyboard USB port. I then connected the wireless dongle of the mouse and the keyboard to the USB hub.

@HonestasAG: vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung. Noch eine allgemeine Info: jemand vom ATEN Support hat noch folgende Informationen bereit gestellt. Evtl. kann das jemand bestätigen?
"...With the mouse receiver connected on the mouse port, check if it works properly. If it doesn't, you can first try to disable mouse emulation by hotkey. And if that doesn't work, you can plug the receiver to one of the USB 3.0 ports of the KVM...."

After buying the KVM, we tried a wireless mouse and keyboard - but it caused us some trouble. Since the mouse and keyboard are connected with a cable, the KVM runs perfectly.
