Question about Voltcraft Energy Cost Meter
Can this device also be used to measure the current of a PV system? So that I know what kind of electricity my PV system produces'.

I would be surprised if it can be used to measure the production of a PV system.
The SEM5000 measures the energy consumed by a device at a 230V AC connection.
In the PV system, direct current is generated and its voltage is measured at the output of the panels.
Converting the SEM5000 will probably be a bigger challenge. Usually, the inverters connected to the PV system provide the information.

I think only myStrom can do that at the moment.
