Can this controller be charged during operation and if so, does it still need to be connected via Bluetooth?

The controller can also be operated with normal batteries, which can be easily replaced. You can also connect it directly to the PC via cable, in which case it does not use up any battery power. However, I cannot say whether you can charge it while it is connected via Bluetooth.
