Can the stick maintain the 15MB/s write speed constantly, or is that only possible for small amounts of data, which are then stored temporarily in a cache? (I need the thing to store my dashcam files, which requires a constant write speed of at least 4MB/s).

4MB/s is no problem for this stick. I also have one and it usually manages 10Mb/s easily.
