I would recommend the following charger: Samsung Pad EP-P1100
This has no built-in fan and is therefore noiseless (suitable for bedrooms). It is also cheaper.
It should also be possible to charge it with a leather cover. I don't have one, but I just tested whether the mobile charges when I put a cork drinking glass coaster on the charger. It works.
