Can the MX Master 3S also be operated wired (without an active wireless connection)? According to my research on the Internet, the MX Master 2S and MX Master 3 supposedly cannot, while the MX Vertical, for example, is supposed to be able to... Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any information on this question regarding the MX Master 3S.

No, it cannot be operated with a cable. The USB-C socket is only suitable for charging the built-in battery.
