Question about Philips Hue Sana Base BT
Can the lamp only be used with the power supply unit? Can I therefore not connect it directly to the old connections of the lamp?
Yes and no... If you have the junction box nearby (max length of the Sana 12V cable) and the power supply unit fits in there.
Solder the cable directly to the power supply unit, connect the cable in the box with the corresponding wires using WAGO terminals.
Allowed or not, it's all about feasibility. Electrical knowledge also assumed.

Unfortunately not. Direct connection is not possible. That's what I originally wanted to do.
