Question about Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance Infuse

I would not install this lamp glued, it is not intended to be glued at the factory. The vertical weight is too high over time! If the surface to be glued was not porous, you could try it to see how it looks in the long term. means the surface to be glued must not be plaster / concrete / wood. > not porous

I would never glue this lamp on! Firstly, the contact surfaces that could be used for this are not wide enough to hold the load in the long term. Secondly, a quarter turn must be made to mount the lamp to the base plate. This would also put a strain on the gluing points. And seriously, who wants to glue this rather expensive lamp to the ceiling? Better to drill two or three holes and be done with it. You should do this work. I only had to drill one hole because one was already in the ceiling from the old lamp. And with just two screws, the lamp is bombproof. So, no gluing, just drilling and screwing ;-)
