Can the keyboard also be connected and operated via cable, or does it need Bluetooth anyway and only charging is possible via cable?

During the charging process, the Bluetooth connection is interrupted and the keyboard is operated via USB connection. I can't say whether this has a long-term negative effect on the keyboard. But if the keyboard is to be connected mainly by cable, I would go for a wired version.
