Can the headset also be used for normal TV enjoyment, i.e. does the headset also work when connected directly to the TV via USB? Thanks for the answer

If your TV has an audio-out via a USB, it should be possible. It doesn't work on my LG because it only has a USB IN. What does work is if you watch content via your Playstation (Netflix,Youtube,Plex etc.) you can just plug the dongle into the USB socket of your PS and the pairing works automatically.
