Can the dock ONLY be used if the DisplayLink driver is installed?
As this is also a USB-C docking solution, a notebook with USB-C Alternate Mode can also use this solution directly, via which notebook charging, LAN, video and USB are transferred.
If the notebook does not have a USB-C Alternate connection, then the DisplayLink variant would have to be selected.
