Can the 15” MBP (2017) drive the monitor through USB-C? The 15” MBP needs 85W and the monitor only supplies 60W, would this be an issue? Or only for prolonged use?

I've used my 2017 15" MBP with this monitor through USB-C for about 5 months now, it works very well. MBP charges more slowly compared to the Apple 85W charger but it does charge without problems. My battery is 99% healthy so for the time being I haven't observed any issue.
