Can someone explain to me why this part is so expensive? Even the 1m cable from Google is more expensive than the power supply from Apple (USB-C 18W) itself.

Apple's charger only has 2 amps of output power...

Since we work with different suppliers and also with daily prices, it can happen from time to time that certain items are higher in price.
