Unfortunately, the PS5 seems to be a little picky - certain hubs work, others don't:

Unfortunately, I could not find any compatibility information for this hub. Please note, however, that this hub with USB 3 Gen 1 limits the speed to 5 Gbit/s, while the USB ports on the back of the PS5 support SuperSpeed up to 10 Gbit/s.
