Question about Reflecta x7 scan

In the technical data sheet, which can be viewed here, it says under film type:
Negative and positive as strip (35mm) or slide (5x5cm), 110 mm (pocket) film as strip, 126 mm film as strip.
Negative 35mm is the 35mm format also used by the Canon AE1.

I don't know the Canon AE1 programme, but I have scanned my negatives with a Konica T3 and Pentax K5 and am satisfied with the result. The price/performance of the device is right. Some of them were negative strips and slides. The camera brand doesn't matter, whether Canon, Nikon, Olympus etc etc. the device doesn't care, the negatives look the same from all brands.
