Yes absolutely. 4 individual different screens. I had to buy also a few other until I got this one. Works perfectly well on my Dell Laptop XP15 with 4 monitors.

I have an Acer laptop (Windows) and it works fine for me, you need to check if your macbook has a powerful enough graphics card to use this and see how the video ports are connected on your computer, hdmi usb c etc
