Can I use the plug on a switched socket so that I can operate it normally via the switch when I am present and only via the smart plug when I am absent? Does the plug automatically reconnect to the WLAN?

Once the plug has been configured with the WLAN, it automatically reconnects as soon as it is connected to the power supply.
The plug can be easily disconnected from the socket. When you plug it back in, you can use it again without any problems when it is reconnected to the network.
