The headset can only be operated via cable on an xbox. The USB dongle is not supported.
I use the headset on my PS4 without any problems. The headset uses WiFi via the USB dongle and can therefore be operated independently of Bluetooth.
For this reason I assume that it also works on an XBOX One X.
Maybe the user manual of the XBOX states whether the audio signal is also output at the USB ports.
