This is not a hard disk but an SSD ;)

Unfortunately no, because as far as I know, the MacBook Air 2011 does not use a "normal" SATA connector, but a special version of a Mini PCI Express / mSATA connector, see [1]. iFixit (a recommendable site for repairs etc.) has a guide with links to suitable SSDs [2]. Also note that you will need a special screwdriver to open your MacBook, you can find a link for this also at [2] or if you search for "Pentalobe P5 screwdriver". Since I did not find such a product at Digitec, I will not link to other suppliers.

The MacBook Air has a special "mSATA" SSD and not a 2.5" SATA SSD.

You will therefore need a product like this one: Transcend SSD Transcend JetDrive 500 240GB, MLC
