Can I order the Oneplus 7 pro and then see if the size isn't a thorn in my side, since you can't look at it in any store, and if it's too big for me then send it back and get a full refund?

If you can, I would advise you to take your request to one of the stores. They will probably be happy to give you the device to look at. Personally, I wouldn't buy it and then send it back if you don't like the size (to be fair).
