Question about Garmin Edge 1030 + Topo Switzerland Pro

Hello I have not yet managed to get the Garmin Edge 1030 to work, let alone install the Topo Map Switzerland. The installation is too complicated for me.

Unlike the Garmin Edge 1030, the Garmin Edge 1030 Plus does not have an SD card slot. It will not be possible to install Swiss Topo directly on the device, as Swiss Topo is licence-protected.

The question refers to the Garmin Edge 1030 PLUS and not to the Edge 1030 that I bought!!!
Back to the question. According to the product description at Veloplus, the Garmin 1030 PLUS does not have an SD slot! This means that the topo map switzerland cannot be installed.
