Can I have my data such as contacts and the like that are not on the SIM card transferred on site in the shop like at Swisscom or do I have to go somewhere else for it?

You can do this yourself. Install the Smart Switch application on the smartphone and follow the instructions. Contacts, calendar, photos etc can be transferred from Andoird/iOS/Win without any problems.
