Can I download the Office Apps for the iPad Pro 12.9" 2020 without paying monthly or annually? Instead, a one-off payment similar to Office 2019?

The iPad Pro 12.9" 2020 comes with the latest iPadOS and all apps available in the AppStore can be installed. This includes all MS Office apps, but only the latest version.
I use these with my business Office 365 account.
Your question is probably more directed at the use of MS Office, but have a look on the net regarding licences for the Apple apps.
