The ceiling light (2400 lm) from Govee cannot be controlled directly via Home Assistant, as the official integration for Govee lamps in Home Assistant currently only works to a limited extent and only sensors such as hygrometers or thermometers are usually supported. However, the light can be controlled via the Govee Home app and voice assistants such as Alexa and Google Assistant.
Although there are attempts to integrate Govee Bluetooth or WLAN lights into Home Assistant, the control is often unreliable or limited, especially with Bluetooth devices, as no status feedback is possible and the range is limited. For stable and complete control, we therefore recommend using the Govee app or compatible voice assistants.
