Can I connect the Yamaha WXAD-10 to the PRE OUT RCA jacks from my old stereo system, and then play it back via WLAN on my SONOS Playbase?

I don't think so, the RCA jacks on the WXAD-10 are outputs only. The same applies to the jack plug (also output only).
